MAT Merger

The Trustees of the LIFT Partnership, of which Linden Bridge / West Hill are part, have decided to enter into an agreement with The Howard Partnership Trust (THPT), with an intention to seek a merger with their multi academy trust. 

Ian Wilson, Chair of Trustees, says: "This is an exciting opportunity to broaden our reach and share our SEND expertise wider within the schools’ community. Being part of a larger, more diverse organisation will bring benefits not only to the staff and children of the LIFT partnership, but also for children of the 10 THPT schools. 

"THPT has a well-developed SEND offer, with a special free school in the pre-opening stage similar to Fox Grove, and several mainstream schools with specialist centres, so we are confident our schools will play a central role in improving SEN provision across a range of schools within the MAT, as well as continuing outreach work beyond the Trust."
